Michelin Guide honours Megève restaurant as one of the places "worth a special journey" as 630 get "good value" rating
THE Flocons de Sel restaurant at Alpine ski resort Megève has been awarded three stars in the new Guide Michelin France, making it one of 105 restaurants round the world that are "worth a special journey".
Chef Emmanuel Renaut joins a list of 26 restaurants in France to get the elite grading in the guide, which appears in shops on March 1.
With recommendations for 4,457 hotels and 4,289 restaurants among the 8,746 featured, the guide includes 426 establishments getting a first mention and a total of 630 restaurants getting the good-value Bib Gourmand rating.
