Meat-eaters across France are being challenged to try a new “chicken” product that has been developed by a fictitious company and contains no meat.
With 800 million chickens a year killed for meat in France, animal rights group L214 is running tastings to disprove the belief that meat-free food is “tasteless”. The first was in Lille and many thought it was meat.
