Exchange rates to use

Declaration of property values must be made in euros at the official exchange rates at the end of December 2025, published by the Banque de France.

Values include:

• UK €1.15 to £1

• USA €0.85 to $1

• Switzerland €1.07 to 1 Fr

• Australia €0.57 to $1

• South Africa €0.051 to R1

• New Zealand €0.49 to $1

Note that if centimes fall below €0.50 they are ignored; if they are €0.50 or above, they are rounded up to the next euro.
