UPDATE [April 10, 14:00]: The petition has now reached 471,000 signatures.

A petition calling for the relaxation of rules on prescribing chloroquine for coronavirus sufferers has been signed by more than 220,000 people in three days.

The campaign Let’s waste no more time was launched on Friday by former Health Minister Philippe Douste-Blazy and infectious diseases specialist Prof Christian Perronne, to allow wider access to the drug.
