Help with French driving lessons

New website offers information about the different kinds of French driving licence

A NEW website www.permisdeconduire.gouv.fr offers information about the different kinds of French driving licence and how to get one, including details of the new “€1 a day driving licence.”

The latter is a scheme for people aged up to 25, which guarantees they will not have to pay more than €30 a month for driving lessons (it is a form of free loan - the government advances money to the driving school).

You can also find driving schools in your area offering the different licences (eg. A1, light motorcycle, A motorcycle, B car etc) and see whether or not they do the €1 scheme.
