RE. Mr Macron’s election: I am thrilled the French are so much wiser than many of my fellow Americans who expressed their misogyny and ignorance by voting for Trump.
But you showed greater wisdom. You would not be side-tracked by Russian interference.
For that I say, Vive La France! Congratulations on your lesson to America. It delights me a lot.
