Daesh video shows Paris attackers
Government preparing chemical attack information campaign as president says threats will not make country doubt
PRESIDENT Hollande has said no threats will make France doubt itself after Daesh militants released a video online showing the Paris attackers training in Syria.
The video is the first confirmation from Daesh that the attackers who murdered 130 people in Paris on November 13 had come from Syria.
French and European leaders were also threatened in the video that said Daesh attacks in Europe were due to European attacks on Daesh.
“We have been in your country, we will massacre you in your houses,” said the presumed organiser of the attacks, Abdelhamid Abaaoud, in hesitant French.
Abaaoud was killed in a police raid on November 18 in the Paris suburb of Saint-Denis.
The video shows clips of seven of the Paris attackers in Syria, brandishing weapons and carrying out beheadings.
It also shows the terrorists promising more attacks in Europe, with the Bataclan murderer Samy Amimour warning: “Soon in Champs-Elysées”.
The video is not dated but does not feature two of the attackers, one of whom is still at large.
Reacting to the video while on a state visit to India, President Hollande said that “no threats would make France doubt”.
Meanwhile France is preparing new guides for the population warning them of what to do in the event of a chemical attack.
Last December it created a poster with instructions on surviving a gun attack.

The head of the Direction Générale de la Santé, Benoît Vallet, told Le Figaro the information would be simple and clear and encourage the public to behave safely in the case of an attack.
It will advise on the warning signs of an attack - such as a group of people suddenly showing the same signs of sickness. The first advice is to get far away, facing into the wind.
Mr Vallet said people’s first reflexes were not always a good idea and that it was better to wait for the emergency services to arrive than to travel to hospital, as clothes could carry chemicals and biological agents.
