The Université de Strasbourg (Bas-Rhin) filmed its campus covered in a thin layer of snow.

Nancy’s Place Stanislas looked pristine in this wintery scene.

In Normandy, the snow showers began on Saturday (December 10), leaving the stade Joseph Déterville in Caen (Calvados) covered in white.

The cliffs of Étretat were also covered in snow:

In Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, Lyon’s mayor Grégory Doucet tweeted: “The Bartholdi horses [on the fountain sculpted by Frédéric Auguste Bartholdi] were surprised by the snow this morning!”

In Paris, there was a light dusting of snow, which La France Insoumise MP and blogger Antoine Léaument captured in a photograph posted on Twitter.

Areas of Hauts-de-France like Lille, and Brittany like Rennes, have also seen a thin blanket of snow this week.
