A driver’s journey ended in a ditch in the Dordogne after a spider appeared on the inside of her windscreen.
The accident happened on a small road off the D707 near Nantheuil in the north of the department yesterday afternoon.
While the 29-year-old driver was not injured, her passenger was taken to hospital for x-rays.
