Melomind stress-free headphones
Innovative French gadget puts the cool into calm
French start-up myBrain Technologies has launched Melomind, headphones that, in conjunction with a smartphone, can help users to reduce their stress levels.
The hi-spec headphones work by using two discreet sensors to detect the electric impulses of your brain. This information is transmitted by Bluetooth to your smartphone, which plays music appropriate to the stress levels that have been detected.
A continuous feedback loop means that, over time, the music that you hear will adapt to your – hopefully increasingly relaxed – state. The first batch are now being delivered to Kickstarter early birds.
Estimated retail price: €380.
