Are overseas territories concerned?

Are France’s overseas territories affected by EES/Etias? 

Trips from a non-Schengen country to the overseas French regions and departments are not affected by EES controls because these are not in the Schengen area. 

However, trips between the overseas regions and mainland France or other Schengen countries could trigger EES checks for those concerned.
