Billi bother
After again queuing almost two hours to clear security at Bordeaux Airport Billi terminal, I thought readers who do not regularly have to suffer this ghastly terminal should know how bad it can be.
Staff ineptitude, together with the awful traffic on the Rocade (Bordeaux ring road), means readers should leave LOTS of time if collecting visitors or taking people there.
Ideally, use a better airport!
David ASPLIN, Brossac
Bordeaux Airport says it regrets the delays but says they were due to tighter security controls. All passengers are checked when, previously, Europeans faced only minimal checks. “We have taken your remarks into consideration and sent your email to the Border Police Chief.”
As for the ‘ghastly terminal’, the airport said: “Billi offers simplified services to meet the demand for low-cost air services.”
