Buy show tickets from tabacs
Retail giant Fnac has launched a scheme for buying tickets for shows and concerts at tabacs.
RETAIL giant Fnac has launched a self-service scheme called Tick & Go for buying tickets for shows and concerts at tabacs.
In the same way as customers choose a cd or dvd, people will now be able to pick up a card off a shelf which will be printed with the image of the show or attraction they want to go and see.
A barcode on the card will then be scanned at the till. It is available at 10,000 tabac outlets which are affiliated to the cash register system belonging to the multinational tobacco group Altadis.
The scheme is an attempt by Fnac to respond to the threat of new ticket outlets on the internet.
