Extra Dordogne–London flights this Christmas

Additional flights across winter period are scheduled

British Airways is adding additional Christmas flights to the route after Ryanair cancelled winter services from the airport

British Airways is to fly six additional services between Dordogne and London City airports this winter, Bergerac Airport has announced.

The airport called the announcement of the extra flights “excellent news” on a social media post.

“These new flights strengthen Bergerac's international connectivity and offer travellers even more flexibility this winter,” it added.

The flights are scheduled between December 18 and January 2, with return-trip tickets starting from €322 on the British Airways website

The flights go some way to filling the gaps from low-cost carrier Ryanair pulling its winter routes from the airport for at least this year.

The airline previously operated a route between Bergerac and London Stanstead during the winter season.

In a recent interview with The Connexion, Christophe Fauvel, chairman of the Dordogne Chamber of Commerce that manages the airport, told us that the low-cost carrier is likely to return to the airport in summer 2026.
