How much can you earn by putting advertising on your car in France?

Advertising on your car could be a smart solution to help balance costs and maybe even make a small profit, as fuel prices are at record levels due to the ongoing Middle East conflict.

Especially for high-mileage drivers who use their car daily to commute to work and run errands, this could help ease the financial burden.

Two platforms connecting drivers to advertising companies are Pub-Car and Loopicom.

How do you enrol and how much does it pay?

At Loopicom, you first sign up by providing information about yourself, your car, and your driving habits. You then choose a campaign that fits your preferences. If selected, you receive the stickers to place on your car doors, download the app to send installation photos, activate geolocation, and confirm the partnership before continuing to drive as usual.

Loopicom pays a minimum of €50 per month, with higher rewards depending on the campaign. Some campaigns may also include vouchers or gifts, and typically last from one to three months.

With Pub-Car, the process is very similar: you provide your details, receive the advertising materials with an installation guide, and then drive.

However, there are two main differences between Pub-Car and Loopicom. While Loopicom campaigns last up to three months, Pub-Car requires a minimum commitment of three months, making it better suited for those willing to advertise longer.

Another option is to start with one platform to see if this type of advertising suits you, and then switch to the other if you’re ready to commit for longer.

The second difference is pay. While Loopicom guarantees at least €50 per month, Pub-Car offers four options:

  • Stickers on one side: €60/month

  • One side + rear window: €70/month

  • Both sides: €80/month

  • Both sides + rear window: €100/month

Pub-Car notes that places are limited in each city, and registrations are approved progressively, so selection is not guaranteed.
