Supermarket giant E.Leclerc is selling fuel at cost price this Easter weekend, across its 730 service stations nationwide.
The price will last from Friday April 18 to Sunday April 20 inclusive.
The offer includes the fuels:
‘Easter is a time when travel can put a strain on the budget,” said Leclerc president Michel-Édouard Leclerc. “We are offering a useful, immediate and unconditional measure: fuel at cost price.”

Falling fuel prices
And while most of the price of the fuel consists of taxes, with retailers typically taking just 2-3 cents per litre, the initiative will help to bring the cost down even more amid already-falling pump prices in recent weeks.
Figures from the Ministry of Energy Transition show that last week:
A litre of diesel was selling for an average of €1.57. This was 5.5 cents less than the week before, and a considerable drop from the peak seen this year, of €1.72 (January).
For unleaded 95E10 petrol, a litre cost €1.68 last week, a drop of 4.9 cents compared to the week before. This is also a considerable drop in comparison to this year’s peak (so far), which reached €1.77 per litre in early January.
The French government maintains an interactive, online map here that enables you to search for fuel service station locations, and see real-time prices for diesel, petrol, and LPG.
