New euro notes are smaller and safer
New €100 and €200 notes will be brought in from May 2019 in the first redesign since the creation of the euro in 2002.

As with the previous new €5, €10, €20 and €50 notes, they are full of anti-forgery features and are smaller to fit wallets better.
