Reduced service on Paris-Troyes line
Starting this Monday, improvement work on the Paris to Troyes rail network is expected to last until December.
Starting this Monday, improvement work on the Paris to Troyes rail network is expected to last until December.
The much needed railway works on the Paris-Provins-Troyes line will address issues such as noise levels and delays and mean an improved service for passengers.
According to regional rail network RFF, this should help cut delays and cancellations by 30%.
To reduce the impact on traffic, most of the work will be conducted at night. Trains will not run between 9pm and 5.30am from Monday to Friday.
Three trains will be cancelled every night between Paris and Provins and replacement buses will operate between Tournan and Provins.
As train schedules will be modified, passengers should check www.intercites.com before travelling. Slight delays are expected.
