Rising anti-Brit sentiment?

I, along with other Brits, are aware of an increasing anti-Brit attitude in France.

We can't understand it because Brit money has done a lot to help the French economy.

Properties that the French had left to fall down have been bought and renovated by Brits.

Local businesses, tradesmen, DIY stores and supermarkets have benefitted from increased trade from Brits.

We don't want special treatment, just a fair attitude and a fair deal.

Often life is deliberately made more difficult for us than it needs to be.

Information is often witheld or given in such a way as to be misleading.

Brits are blamed for the rise in property prices during the past few years but it should be remembered that Brit buyers do not set the prices; that is done by the sellers and agents, the majority of whom are French.
