EasyJet will offer new UK route from Brittany in 2027
The airline will launch twice-weekly flights from Rennes to Luton Airport
EasyJet is set to launch a new route from Brittany to the UK in summer 2027, with twice weekly flights between Rennes and Luton Airport near London.
The announcement was made by Rennes Airport on Linkedin. “This link will offer more opportunities to reach the English capital and will strengthen the potential for welcoming British visitors to Brittany,” the airport said.
The new flights, which will operate twice a week in July and August, are meant to complement easyJet's existing service from Rennes to London-Gatwick.
EasyJet will also launch flights from Rennes to Milan-Malpensa, with two services a week from May to September. The route will mark the return of flights between Rennes and Italy after a 10-year gap.
Tickets for both new routes will go on sale on October 15.
More UK routes from France
The Rennes announcement follows easyJet’s recent plans to expand its UK connections from other French regional airports.
The airline had announced in September the launch of three more new routes to the UK for summer 2027: Bastia to Manchester, Montpellier to Bristol and Ajaccio to London-Gatwick.
The airline will also introduce a new route from Biarritz to Málaga, in Spain.
Flights from Bastia to Manchester are due to begin on June 29, while the Montpellier-Bristol service will start on July 1. Flights between Ajaccio and London-Gatwick are scheduled to begin on June 30.
EasyJet has also announced a new Strasbourg-Luton Airport route as part of its autumn-winter 2026-2027 programme, with flights due to begin at the end of November 2026.
