The 2047 foreign income online form

This annexe form must be selected if you have income to declare from abroad

The foreign income form 2047 is one of the annexe forms and must be selected if you have income to declare from abroad, such as a foreign pension.

In the online version, you are first asked to select the type or types of income you need to declare, whether this is salaires (salaries), revenus de valeurs et capitaux mobiliers (shares and other investment income such as interest and dividends), plus-values (capital gains), revenus fonciers (unfurnished rental income), revenus de professions non-salariés (independent work income), and so on.

Income from furnished rentals comes under the latter heading.

This selection determines which sections are opened for you to complete. This is different from the paper version of the 2027 form, where all sections are listed and you fill in only those that apply to you.

This ‘two-layer’ online system is similar to the way the main declaration section for French income works online.

Below, you can see a selection of actual 2047 boxes, in this case for declaring salaries and pensions, as well as boxes to confirm if this is ‘private’ or ‘public’ income. The latter reforms to government (public service) pensions, for example.

On the left (under the word accueil), you can see some of the other annexes and sections that the person can check and navigate in and out of until everything is complete and signed off.
