This walled clutch of 16th-17th Century church buildings, featuring a remarkable number of stone carvings, has been listed as an official historical monument since 1906. 

It is named after Saint Miliau - the saint called upon by those suffering from rheumatic conditions - who was beheaded in 792.

This decorative structure stemmed from the region's wealth as a result of prosperous trade in flax and hemp.
