Listeria scare prompts ham recall

Thousands of packs of ham have been pulled from the shelves at supermarkets Auchan, Carrefour, Leader Price, Casino and Monoprix due to a listeria scare.

The stores have also issued recall notices for certain ham products which have use-by dates ranging from February 9 to March 2.

The consumer watchdog recommended taking the products back to the store.

Meanwhile, who suffers fever and headaches after eating ham bought from the stores should consult their doctor, 60 millions de consommateurs said

"People who may have eaten it and have a fever, isolated or accompanied by headaches, are invited to consult their doctor by notifying him of this consumption,"explains 60 million consumers.
