‘DSK’ drink said to be aphrodisiac
A mixer with the initials of Dominique Strauss-Kahn – linked to various sex scandals – is being trialled in night clubs
A NEW mixer drink and supposed aphrodisiac is being trialled in night spots with the initials of Dominique Strauss-Kahn.
The makers of the mixer DSK, have said they wondered if the name was “too brazen”, but went ahead with it anyway because French people would easily remember it.
Although it stands for “Drink Saffran Kiwi” – referring to its flavourings – it brings to mind the former IMF head who is still facing civil action over the alleged rape of a hotel maid in New York, and is under investigation for further rape allegations in connection with the “Lille-Carlton” prostitution ring affair. He has also been associated with other sexual scandals.
The drink, made in the Creuse, includes French saffron, which the makers claim is said to have aphrodisiac properties as well as promoting wisdom and a good mood and mitigating the effects of alcohol.
It is meant to be mixed with strong alcohol and is aimed at night clubbers.
A thousand bottles have been released for trials in Paris and on the Riviera.
