Emotional appeal to find and thank good samaritans
Family who are lucky to be alive after road accident make an appeal to find strangers who came to their rescue

Last Sunday, a couple and their children were in a serious car accident. Miraculously unharmed, they have launched an appeal on Facebook to find the many people who stopped to help them, in order to say a heartfelt thank you for their kindness.
The mother involved, ‘So Guil-brif’ - as she calls herself on Facebook, shared what happened on the social networking site.
"On Sunday, May 28, on the A81 towards Le Mans /Laval, around Sablé-sur-Sarthe, we were in an accident,” she said.
The parents and three of their children, from Savigné-l'Évêque, had set off in their minibus, with a friend of their youngest son, to celebrate Mother's Day in Vitré.
But a few minutes after their departure, a tyre burst.
"We swerved several times before flipping over", the mother told Ouest-France.
Adding: "I turned to look at my children as if it was the last time."
A few moments later, the vehicle came to a halt in the middle of the motorway. Managing to brake in time, the cars behind formed a barrier around the vehicle.
The Facebook post reads: “Many people stopped to help us, we can’t thank them but we need to. These people called the emergency services, helped us and the four children out of the vehicle, some brought us water, others reassured us, some took out the battery to prevent the vehicle from catching fire.
“We remember the first gentleman who approached us, surely fearful of what he might find inside the vehicle, we remember also the two ladies (nurses) who cared for our children and the three young men who tore out the battery… plenty of others were there and helped us.
“TO ALL A HUGE THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART… IF YOU WERE THERE, SEND US A PRIVATE MESSAGE.”
The post has now been shared more than 31,000 times.
Following the incident the six passengers were taken to hospital with some minor injuries. However, the family feel lucky to be alive.
“We thought we were going to die… It was my most beautiful Mother's Day, because all my children are alive”, the mother said.
