The family of a young British mum who went missing in Paris last week are urging people with information to come forward.

Lucy Stemp, 28, from Tonbridge, Kent was last seen in Paris on May 30 in the Bercy area (the city’s 12th arrondissement).

She had travelled to Brest (Finistère) for a music festival before returning to the capital.

Her family say she is “very vulnerable” and is likely unable to find her way back home without help.

Interpol has reportedly launched a search for Miss Stemp in a cross-border operation alongside the British Embassy in France.

“We are supporting the family of a British national who has been reported missing in France and are in contact with the local authorities,” a Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office spokesperson told journalists.

Miss Stemp, a hair and beauty worker, is mother to a young daughter. Recent Facebook posts show her celebrating her daughter's swimming achievements.

According to UK media reports, her stepfather described Miss Stemp as "very vulnerable," adding that "she has been missing for over a week now."

Anyone with information has been asked by Kent Police to contact them via 999, with the reference number 01-1644 (if in the UK).
