Find film sets via online movie map
Cinema lovers can walk mean streets of Paris in search of key locations in the city of lights, camera, action!
MOVIE lovers heading to Paris can now follow in the footsteps of their favourite actors, thanks to an online map which pinpoints key film locations in the city of lights, camera, action.
Online news site Rue89 created the interactive map, which reveals the streets Owen Wilson walked along in Woody Allen’s Midnight in Paris; where Ellen Page first “folded” the landscape in Christopher Nolan’s mind-twisting Inception; where Liam Neeson hunted down his daughter’s kidnappers in Taken; or even the sit in the Montmartre cafe made famous by the Audrey Tatou film Amélie.
Some 600 films - including 422 French and 34 American - are listed and can be searched by title, actors or directors and address. For the moment, the map is restricted to movies shot between 2002 and 2010 and is currently in French only.
