France confinement fine rises, €135 and €375
The fine for people going out without a form during home confinement has today been raised from €38 to €135, and €375 when it is not paid in the next 45 days.
The government has officially published a decree this morning and the fine is now considered category four fine – it was category one before.
The decree applies from immediate effect.
To go out, you need to fill a form, which you can download here. If you cannot print it, you can write it on a blank sheet of paper.
You can only go out for work, food shopping, medical reasons, to walk the dog, exercise or to visit a vulnerable elder relative.
See more information on the form here.
