Free breast cancer tests for 25-year-olds
Free preventive breast cancer consultations will be offered to women aged 25 from 2018, the Ministry of Health has said.
Nearly 12,000 women die from breast cancer each year in France but when detected at an early stage, the patient’s chances of recovery are 90%. Currently, free examinations are reserved for women aged 50 to 74 years.
