French vaccine certificates compatible with Scottish Covid pass scheme
People in Scotland will need to show the passes to enter nightclubs or large events
French and EU vaccine certificates will be compatible with the Scottish Covid passports.
A Scottish government spokesperson has confirmed to The Connexion today that “users of the EU Digital Covid Certification system can use proof of vaccination in Scotland.”

Scotland introduced a vaccine passport scheme for some events on October 1, although the requirement will not be enforced until October 18.
Like the French TousAntiCovid app, the Scottish passports use a QR code to prove that an individual has been fully vaccinated against Covid.
This must be shown when entering nightclubs, indoor live events with more than 500 people unseated, outdoor live events with more than 4,000 people unseated and any event with more than 10,000 people.
Under-18s and people who are exempt from receiving Covid vaccines will not need to show a pass.
All vaccination certificates issued in France after June 25 are already compatible with the EU Digital Covid Certificate scheme and can therefore be used in Scotland.
