Front National to sue minister
FN sues Christiane Taubira after she responds to candidate’s monkey insults by calling them “lethal and deadly"
THE Front National has announced it is taking legal action action against the justice minister Christiane Taubira.
Responding to the comments of an FN candidates who described her as a “monkey” and a “savage”, Ms Taubira described the FN as being “lethal and deadly”.
The FN in turn has called her comments “violent” and “outrageous” and announced it will sue and has questioned her position as justice minister.
The case comes just a few days after the FN’s leader Marine Le Pen said she would sue anyone who described the party as “extreme right”.
“Nothing justifies the expression of such hatred against a whole party and its millions of voters,” said Le Pen.
