Fête du Cinéma starts 7-day run
Cinema fans can see the latest blockbusters and some old classics at cut-price with the launch of Fête du Cinéma 2009
CHEAP cinema seats and plenty of films to watch: that’s the formula for the success of the Fête du Cinéma which starts tomorrow and, to mark its 25th anniversary, runs for seven days instead of three.
The simple format allows film fans to buy a full-priced ticket and get a passport that allows entry to future films at a price of just €3 each.
Participating cinemas will be showing blockbusters such as Kevin Macdonald’s Jeux de Pouvoir, Michael Bay’s Transformers 2, Emmanuel Mouret’s Fais-moi Plaisir! and the Cannes Film Festival sensation Looking for Eric by Ken Loach.
However, independent cinemas will also be showing a range of classics and there will be films for children, too, with Hannah Montana, Le Film.
To get more information check the official Fête du Cinéma website.
