Haunted family to be rehoused
Exorcist brought in as resident taken to hospital after being hit in face by flying chair
A FAMILY in the north of France are to be rehoused – because their home is haunted.
One of the family was taken to hospital earlier this month after being hit by a flying chair and several villagers and the mayor in Mentque-Nortbécourt, Nord-Pas-de-Calais, have witnessed strange events.
The mother, father and 18-year-old son are to be rehoused after applying for a move last July and have been living temporarily on a campsite.
They spoke of oranges flying across the room, being hit by soap dispensers and of being hit on the head by flying stones. The local diocese had even sent in an exorcist.
The Pas-de-Calais conseil général is to look at rehousing them. Their house has had six different tenants in 13 years but no one else had reported any problem.
