Holiday boost for Brive airport
Limousin and Dordogne residents get boost with extra holiday weekend flights to Brive
BRIVE airport gets an extra holiday boost in February when CityJet restarts flights on four dates in February to help extend the season.
With its Christmas festive services continuing until January 9, CityJet has organised flights to London City airport from Brive Vallée de la Dordogne on the holiday weekends of February 18 and 20, and 25 and 27.
The company also says it is well on the way to confirming that it will fly again from the airport next summer.
Newly appointed chief executive officer Christine Ourmières told TravelDaily that CityJet had no plans to expand. “We’re a niche carrier and we don’t want to be bigger. We want to keep profitability as our priority. I do not see any major changes.”
She added: “We mainly cater to the business market because of our location, but we are hoping to increase our leisure market percentage.”
