Judged by software
Software tested in appeal courts in Rennes, Douai and Lille can predict how domestic cases such as divorces will be settled using the results from two and a half million previous cases.

Called Prédictrice, it shows the chances of winning a case, the likely compensation ...and if results vary across the country. All French legal judgments are due to go online and such software could help clients decide if mediation offers a better chance of a result than litigation.
