Keep dogs out of trolleys
We were amazed to see a woman with a dog in a shopping trolley provided by Carrefour, Brive, first queuing in one of the ‘pavement’ eateries and then sitting to eat her lunch and feeding the dog that was still sitting in the trolley.
Unequivocally actions like this at the very least must pose a health risk to other customers who subsequently use that trolley for food shopping.
I explained the risks involved but just received a Gallic shrug and was invited to go away.
Surely the providers of these trolleys have some responsibility to ensure against this type of action. It is totally unacceptable.
