Macron launches pro-Paris Accord website
The makeourplanetgreatagain site includes an online invitation to scientists and entrepreneurs concerned about climate change to work in France

President Emmanuel Macron launched a website last week encouraging anyone concerned about climate change to emigrate to France.
The launch of the website - www.makeourplanetgreatagain.fr - follows Mr Macron's pledge to strengthen France's climate targets in response to President Donald Trump's announcement that the US was quitting the Paris Agreement.
The website is addressed 'To all responsible citizens,' and criticises the 'climatic scepticism of the new government of the United States'. It also reiterates Mr Macron's election campaign promise to invite American scientists and entrepreneurs to work in France.
Described as a, 'concrete tool to enable and facilitate the arrival of every committed citizen', in order to support the development of green projects, the website touts France as a, 'driving force of science and technology in Europe'.
The site is aimed at attracting researchers, entrepreneurs and others to France to pursue efforts to combat climate change.
In a message on the site, Mr Macron said: "The planet needs your innovative skills. So, are you IN to change (literally!) our daily lives and make our planet great again?"
