Reports are confirming that a bomb was exploded by a suicide bomber after a concert held by popstar Ariana Grande at the Manchester Arena yesterday evening. Grande is especially popular with younger teenagers.

Macron released a statement this morning saying that he would shortly speak to British Prime Minister Theresa May, and would work with the British government to combat terrorism.

He will continue to receive updates in real time from Britain.

The statement read: “He sends all of France’s compassion and concern to the British people. France joins Britain in mourning, and we send a special thought to the victims and their families.”

French Prime Minister Edouard Philippe also condemned the attack as “terrorism of the most cowardly”, which sought to “specifically and knowingly” target young people.
