Regional UK airline Loganair is adding several new seasonal flights to its roster from Jersey this summer, including to Paris Charles de Gaulle.
The Paris flight will run three times per week on Sundays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays between May 31 and October 22, with tickets starting from £94.99 one-way on the Loganair website.
The route joins new services to Norwich, East Midlands, and Dublin airports, as well as more frequent flights to Bristol.
It becomes the first direct flight to link the island with the French capital, however regional operator Finist'air offers a route to Brest, and various other European destinations are served either seasonally or year round.
Local authorities in Jersey are keen to boost French tourism to the island after a disappointing year in 2025 saw the number of visitors to the island drop significantly.
Between January and September 2025, 392,500 visits were recorded to the island – nearly 80,000 fewer than in 2024 (471,800).
This was attributed to new ferry route agreements seeing seasonal sailings begin later than usual, in addition to a new system for tracking overnight stays that records data in a manner different from its predecessor.
There is a “big focus on France and building back that business,” in Jersey this year, said Visit Jersey CEO Tricia Warwick (quoted in the BBC).
Last year, ferry operator DFDS – who took over routes to and from the island – launched a ‘day-trip’ service to the island aimed at French tourists, arriving early in the morning before departing later that day.
