‘No deal’ Brexit looms after May resigns
A bill to put the negotiated Brexit agreement into UK law and give MPs a vote on whether to hold a referendum has been shelved after Prime Minster Theresa May’s resignation.
Mrs May had said the choice was the deal, no deal or “revoke or a second referendum”.
Boris Johnson is the front-runner to replace her. He says the UK should leave on October 31, deal or no deal.
Christopher Chantrey of the British Community Committee of France said: “For our rights the best thing is remain, way below is the deal and way below again is no deal.
