Payout would be ‘death warrant’

I VERY much support the planned inheritance changes, which allow me to choose who inherits my estate. It has nothing to do with prejudice, favouritism or intrigue – it is purely on humanitarian grounds.
I have two children, both adopted at six weeks old, but they are not related to each other. One is leading a decent life but the other is a drug addict convicted of many drug-related crimes and jailed for them.
I tried for 10 years to give my son support but failed and had a nervous breakdown. So, on my death, he would have something like €200,000 in his pocket under current French laws. I pray I will live another three years so that his “virtual death warrant” is avoided.
