A LAW to cut off the internet accounts of users caught downloading illegally which was rejected in a surprise vote last week is to go before MPs again before the end of the month.
A meeting of party leaders decided that the création et internet law would be debated again on April 29.
President of the governing UMP party Jean-François Copé said the bill, known as the Hadopi law would be discussed after a debate on family law on April 28.

The law was rejected last Thursday after a surprise vote blamed on the small number of MPs who were in the house due to the impending start of parliamentary holidays.
