Quick work for passport!
I wanted to share the excellent experience I have had in renewing my British passport.
I went online on January 3 and completed the very simple process of completing my application.
I sent the required paperwork the next day to the UK by registered post. I expected to wait about four to six weeks but you could have knocked me down with a feather when, at 4pm today (January 12), the doorbell rang and the courier delivered my new passport!
Nine days from start to finish. Well done to the Passport Office who, incidentally, I worked for at the start of my career many, many years ago. Glad to see they are keeping up my high standards!
