In his excellent letter, Philip Clews (July 2017), made the mistake of saying the Remain vote made 48% of the electorate – that should have been 48% of those who voted.
More meaningful is that we are being put through this idiotic Brexit because 38% of the electorate voted for it (meaning it is the will of only 27% of the population). The 62% of the electorate who did not vote for Brexit are being stifled by Mrs May and her political agenda.
