Report Monday re length of lockdown in France
The findings of France’s official scientific advisory body will be presented to the government on Monday so it can make a decision on the length of home confinement in France and whether it should be extended.
The announcement has been made this afternoon by France’s Health Minister Olivier Véran
Mr Véran said the situation is going to worsen in the next few days and that confinement is key to saving lives.
The irresponsible attitude of some people who are not taking the rules seriously are a danger to themselves and to others he added.
Mr Véran said patience and solidarity were needed.
