Retirement help in English
A week of free seminars for retired residents in the Deux-Sèvres
A WEEK of free seminars in English is being offered to retired residents in the Deux-Sèvres, to help them find out more about how the health system and care for the elderly works in France.
The talks are offered by a charitable association in the Pays de Gâtine, around Parthenay in the Deux-Sèvres, from October 18-25.
The week begins with a coffee morning in the Salle Socioculturelle in Le Tallud from 9.30 on October 18, where the programme will be presented. In the afternoon, a visit to a retirement home and village complex for the elderly has been arranged as well as various talks.
Email julia.salvat@gatine.org for more info or call 05 49 64 25 49.
The talks in English are part of a bigger, annual national event called La Semaine Bleue, which aims to raise awareness of different retirement options in France. For details of other talks (mostly in French), see www.semaine-bleue.org
