Rock opera tells of Breton queen

Opera about a Nantes woman who was twice queen of France, Anne de Bretagne

MUSICIANS from Fairport Convention, and Jethro Tull will join French artists in a rock opera about a Nantes woman who was twice queen of France, Anne de Bretagne.

Folk rockers Fairport Convention, Martin Barre from Jethro Tull and Les Holroyd of prog rock group Barclay James Harvest are joined by Bretons Tri Yann and singer and harpist Cécile Corbel, as well as the Genoa opera choir.
