Ryanair’s 2026 summer schedule is being released on its website, but UK routes to French airports such as Béziers and Brive remain absent after they were axed for the winter 2025 season.
Flights between London Stansted and several other airports including Bergerac, Perpignan and Lourdes-Pyrénées are scheduled.
Several other changes are also in place amid a wider reshuffle of services from the low-cost airline.
Major routes remain unavailable
The airline's Brive and Béziers routes to the UK were axed over the winter 2025 period as part of service reductions to French airports, which the airline claims were made following an increase in airline taxes at the start of the year.
Most routes to Bergerac were also axed (both UK and non-UK routes), as well as non-UK routes from Strasbourg.
At the time, it was not clear if these suspensions were temporary or would permanently affect the airport for future seasons, including the routes previously scheduled over the summer months.
As of October 3, tickets for the Brive-London Stansted route, available for previous summer seasons, cannot be purchased via the Ryanair website (although the option to look for tickets on the route remains available).
This is the same for routes between Béziers and the UK (London Stansted, London Luton, Manchester, Edinburgh, and Bristol).
Some of these routes were already only summer-season exclusives, whereas the London Luton route was year-round before being axed.
Ryanair did not run services between Strasbourg and the UK but previously scheduled routes to Agadir (Morocco) and Porto (Portugal) have seemingly not been put in place for the summer 2026 season.
Bergerac airport – that also saw UK Ryanair routes axed this winter – will see a service to London Stansted return with daily flights across the summer according to the current schedule on the Ryanair website.
It comes after airport chiefs told The Connexion earlier this year they were confident the route would return.
Services to other UK airports from Bergerac have not yet been scheduled, however, including previous seasonal routes to Bristol, Liverpool, Edinburgh, Bournemouth, and the East Midlands.
Several flights to Carcassonne
Carcassonne will see daily flights to London Stansted from April - October, as well as multiple flights per week to Bournemouth, Manchester, and East Midlands airport.
Likewise, daily flights between London Stansted and Lourdes-Pyrénées/Limoges airports are scheduled.
Other nearby airports have seen a reduction in service with no services from the UK-Nîmes yet scheduled, nor to / from La Rochelle or Clermont.
Routes between London Stansted and Poitiers/Perpignan are set to run however.
While tickets are currently available to purchase on the Ryanair website, not all airport websites are showing summer 2026 tickets as available. This is the case with Carcassonne, for example.
Further information can be found via the Ryanair website here, by choosing the airports of travel and scrolling through to the summer 2026 period.
When contacted by The Connexion, Ryanair confirmed the summer 2026 schedule was still being finalised so is subject to change.
