Unemployment falls below 10% mark
France's unemployment rate fell below the symbolic 10% mark in the first quarter of 2017, according to figures published by Insee.
This represents a decrease of 0.4 percentage points compared to the fourth quarter of 2016.
The number of unemployed fell by 115,000 to 2.7million.
