Websites targeted
TRAVEL websites which automatically add insurance or baggage to travellers purchases are being targeted under a new European ban in the Consumer Rights Directive.
It applies to all online retailers and means they should show the total price with any extras that customers have specifically added.
The directive also says customers using credit cards should only be charged the cost of providing that service and not an inflated sum.
